The people are very congenial. All the Associates, Partners, Interns and other supporting staff eat lunch together in the dining hall. The associates/mentor are warm and take extra effort to explain the question of law to the interns. They explain the errors and ways to improvise. There is a wide variety of interns from law graduates to IITians and biotech people. It was an amalgamation of all talents.

The best part about the internship has to be the 'classes' that he takes which I have talked about above. Watching him argue in big cases and then discussing it with him is an absolute treat, too. Also, he takes the interns out for a spin in his BMW now and then. How cool is that?!

Best thing is that it is a very awesome, delightful, incredible exposure for law student to grab the maximum in short spam of one month. You learn things like court room ethics, arguments advanced in closed files etc. Further the associates and partners give personal attention to interns if any one is facing problem to do any work assigned. You also learn about the small but important techniques to take advantage of lacuna in legal language.

My co-intern was given drafting work whereas my work was confined to research and argument framing. We generally dealt with contractual matters and writ petitions. I worked on majorly 3-4 cases with her and she made me draft various legal documents like, legal notices, public notice, affidavits, NOC, etc. Court visits were common, but be on time for those.

I went to the office, though the office is not too big and decorated but it is very clean and has lots of work. But the only condition is the intern has to show his interest and come on time as it is very evident that in this profession is no one will teach you anything out of his own knowledge you have to show your own interest and hard work.

I hadn't even studied company law in detail when I started interning but Ms Anuradha was patient and gave me daily assignments to make me aware of the law. She would test how much I want to do and would give me work accordingly. Other associates are kind of snooty specially the younger ones), but hey, I should not judge them.

None of the associates talk to the interns, or even look at the interns for that matter. They're extremely indifferent. Some people just stop turning up after a few days, but they don't even seem to notice.
