On my first day, as I was asked to report at the lawyers chamber at Delhi High Court, while I was waiting, I saw this erudite lady walking towards the chamber, all I could do is to introduce myself, when she said "Welcome! young lady, I hope you extract the most from this internship". The best part of the internship was the Saturday classes, yes, classes where all the partners sit and ask the interns to prepare any topic on which a presentation or a small lecture is expected, but it turns out to be transformed into an extensive classroom lecture where you get to polish your concepts quite nicely.

Some of the bad things which I witnessed at HRLN, Allahabad were that there was a rush. Everyone wanted that the PIL should be in their name only, so this created a lot of conflict over there. Too much of competition was present over there, in order to make them feel our presence we had to work a lot.

The best thing about Mr. Luthra’s office is Mr. Sidharth Luthra himself. He is a very sober and down to earth person. He is very polite while interacting with his interns. Also the cases he deals with are mostly hyped criminal cases so the research work becomes all the more interesting.

The best thing about this internship was the fact that although the interns had to make notes about all kinds of cases during the Court proceedings, we could choose a case of our liking and work with that in depth.
