After reviewing the CV you will receive a call for telephonic interview and on the basis of your interview they will confirm your internship. Timing Monday to Friday (09:30 A.M. – 06:30 P.M.) You may have to stay back depending on the work load or till the time you finish the work assigned to you. First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure Mumbai office of ARA Law is centrally located for the people living in suburbs as well for the people living in South Mumbai; it is also convenient for the people who are staying at central lines of Mumbai. On my first day, all the interns including me were introduced to the partner of the firm Mr. Rajesh Begur and after having formal introduction, every intern was assigned with a mentor who will clear your doubts and make sure that you will be occupied with work at all time. Accommodation Since, I am a student of Government Law College, Mumbai; I did not have to go through trouble of finding place. But, one can check with Sevaniketan in byculla. Main tasks, Work environment and people One get to deal with various PE & VC and M&A work which consists of research related to corporate laws like Company Law, SEBI Regulations, FEMA Regulations etc. and also due diligence of investee company for the purpose of investment. Every intern has to write an article and present before the firm on the last day of internship. People here are very friendly and easy to approach for any query and clarification. Best Things ARA Law is one of the leading firms and it is the firm for students who wants to learn private equity and venture capital area of law, as they have vast number of matters and also big clients. All Saturdays are off and mostly you get done from office around 7:30 P.M. one of the best parts of the firm is that you get a mentor on very first day and you will be fully occupied throughout the day. Since, there is no street food stalls available in BKC area, this firm provides evening snacks to everyone. Bad things People from outside Mumbai may not like travelling by local trains and then using auto-rickshaw to reach office.
